Horrible, stupid and just don't buy it are what comes to mind. My DVD is in English but the quality of the movie made it hard to watch and there's no closed caption.
I wouldn't have purchased this if I had it to do over. The story was Narnia but that's not necessarily a positive thing because the story seemed dumb. It reminded me of Jack and the bean stalk with little people and giants. It seemed more like a play not a movie. The DVD works fine and the case is good too. Not that it matters. I won't be watching it anymore.

This is my favorite of all the on screen renditions of the Narnia series, both BBC and Walden/Disney. The special effects are ludicrous, no getting around it. But everything else is exquisite. The acting is great, and the directors/writers were about as faithful to Lewis' book as one could expect for an on-screen adaptation. The portrayal of Puddleglum is particularly well done, and the actor who played him was wonderful.

I'm very glad to finally have a copy of this for my own collection, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the books.

Fortunately it plays on a computer that has the capability of changing regional code. I am enjoying the story; had hoped it was part of the newer series released through the theaters, but it goes with the older series I have previously acquired.
