"Nun schreib doch mal wieder ein Buch. Deine Leser warten drauf. Du kannst ja die Tagebuch-Form wählen. Das geht doch schnell, eine ungeordnete Gedankensammlung reicht" So oder ähnlich könnte der Verleger den Erfolgsautor gedrängt haben, wohl wissend, dass es trotzdem ein Bestseller wird. Laut einer vorher gelesenen Rezension soll es auch nicht das beste Werk von Henryk M. Broker sein. Obwohl ich (noch) kein anderes Werk von ihm kenne, glaube ich nach der Lektüre auch, dass Herr Broder noch mehr kann. Es ist einfach unnachahmlich genial, wie er aufgeblasene Soziologie-Professoren, Migrationsforscher und "Antisemitismusexperten" auseinander nimmt und die dümmlichen, klischeehaften Sprechblasen namhafter Politiker entlarvt. Dass er dabei manchmal über das Ziel hinausschießt und in Albernheiten verfällt, kann man verschmerzen, ebenso wie einige ermüdende Längen im Text. Seine scharfsinnigen Bemerkungen zum Islam werden einigen "Jubelpersern" des rotgrünen Mainstreams nicht passen, widerlegen können sie sie nicht. Und - aus dem Munde Broders müssen sie sie zudem auch hinnehmen. Das Buch hat - wie gesagt- ein paar Schwächen, aber es macht Lust, mehr von dem Autor zu lesen.

Dieses Buch unterscheidet sich ziemlich von den vielen anderen "politisch unkorrekten" Leseangeboten, die wir zur Zeit auf dem Markt finden.
Zwar nicht unbedingt inhaltlich, aber im stilistischen Aufbau. Statt wahllos über die Wellenberge der aktuellen gesellschaftspolitischen Probleme zu surfen, arbeitet Henryk M.Broder diese im Schreibstil eines Tagebuches ab. Das macht dieses Buch in doppelter Hinsicht besonders lesenswert.
Zum Einen erhält es eine angenehme Kurzweiligkeit und weckt automatisch das Interesse auf den "nächsten Tag". Zum Anderen gewinnt man beim lesen sofort einen persönlichen Bezug zu den angesprochenen tagesaktuellen "Tagebucheinträgen". An viele Ereignisse kann man sich noch erinnern und hat die Fernsehbilder plötzlich wieder vor Augen. M.Broder behandelt die jeweiligen Themen gewohnt treffsicher, mit viel Ironie und dezentem Humor, obwohl weder die Problematik noch die handelnden Protagonisten wirklich lustig sind und wenn, dann eher unfreiwillig.
Der Autor hat zweifellos dass nötige Fachwissen und eine aus viel Erfahrung resultierende Kompetenz,um gesellschaftspolitische Verwerfungen,Irrwege und Absurditäten aufzugreifen und zu bewerten. Die Aktualität dieses Buches ist übrigens verblüffend !
Sicher ist dieses Tagebuch keine "Erbauungsliteratur", dafür sind die Themenfelder dann doch zu ernst und die staatstragende Erosion unserer Gesellschaft zu fatal. Aber gerade deshalb ist dieses Buch absolut lesenswert und bewusstseinserweiternd.
