i have dark brown hair that i wanted to lighten the tips this did not work. it does not come with instructions either, if you want to bleach your hair try Splatt products for it.

If you are a male with either think/long black hair and want to dye small parts or a full head of hair, GET JEROME! This bottle size is enough for ONE single pack which is a single use. I hope Amazon leaves this review in because, even though I used the product different from intended use, this product worked well as a dye.
I bought and used this product purely for repairing yellowing plastics on old 8 and 16-bit computers/consoles.
Used together with a oxy action powder (only a teaspoon per bottle), this product worked wonders on my old Amiga 500 keyboard. I just mixed the two products, bblonde and a oxy powder, covered the keys in the mixture, popped them in a transparent plastic zip bag and left in the sun for 6 hours. The results were superb, although not 100% like the originals - this is where a black ultra violet bulb comes into play for overnight usage.
For the money (bblonde), and relatively short time, it worked as intended. And although not as the product was designed for, it did work for this particular job.

I have used this product lots of times, and it has not let me down. If you are buying this to go from dark brown hair to blonde, and you have medium length to longish hair, then I would recommend buying four bottles of this, along with four sachets of Jerome Russell powder bleach because you might need more than one bleaching. But never do it all at once otherwise your hair could fall out, and remember to use an ash blonde hair dye after bleaching to get rid of the brassy orange color.
