The approximate location of the Nadezhdinka farm in the municipality of Kostanay, in North Kazakhstan
Hinged tractor Kirovets K700A, a tractor legend from the previous century, which some farmers still rely on
The main problem at the farm are estuaries (unmanaged river mouths) and soil compaction. The total estuary area at the farm is about 1,000 ha. They also deal with the common issue of soil compaction on many other areas, just like many other businesses all over the world. All these issues (estuaries and compaction) reduce the crop of the farm, and the profit as a result.
Kakimbek Seidalin, the farm manager, has purchased two TERRALAND TN 3000 M7R chisel ploughs to manage the estuaries and cultivate the compacted areas of arable land. The purchased machines have a working width of 3 metres and a total of 7 ploughshares with a spacing of approx. 40 cm. Their maximum working depth is 55 cm and they are aggregated with the Kirovets K-700 tractor with 240 horse power.

Aggregation of mounted TERRALAND TN 3000 M7R chisel plough with the Kirovets К-700 tractor at the farm
The economic benefit of the chisel plough is obvious. When they cultivate 1,000 hectares of the estuaries and make it usable again, the farm will increase its crop by 7 %. With regard to the overall area of the farm, it is quite a bit. The crop will be even higher considering the cultivation of the compacted soil. From an economic point of view, it is definitely important that the Nadezhdinka farm will be able to pay off the TERRALAND TN 3000 M7R chisel ploughs after the first season of their use.
The main task of the TERRALAND TN is to cultivate the estuaries and the compacted soil and thus make space for the root system in the soil profile. The river estuaries will become fertile again and manageable. At the same time, moisture and air will return to the root zone in previously compacted fields.
The soil profile in Kazakhstan is extremely compacted after many years of working with a standard plough. It is now necessary to apply deep soil processing using the TERRALAND chisel plough by BEDNAR FMT for three or four years.

The Kirovets K-700 tractor aggregated with the TERRALAND TN 3000 M7R chisel plough in Kazakhstan proves that BEDNAR machines are compatible to aggregation with Russian tractors.
Kirovets K-700 with the chisel ploughs drives at a speed of 9 km/h. It processes the soil profile along its entire length at a depth of 40 cm, using chisels that are 80 mm wide. If the chisel plough were equipped with 40mm chisels, it would be possible to process soil at a greater depth where the soil is much heavier and more compacted.
