Saoirse Ronan Just Got an Ultra-Short Icy Platinum Bob

We've never seen this shade on her.

The bob is inescapable. The short, timeless hairdo has perhaps never been more popular. Megan Fox debuted a red velvet bob, Cara Delevigne a beachy one, and Zendaya also got in on the "Bob Renaissance" with a cherry cola flippy bob. Now, it seems like because of all the long-haired girlies going short, those who already have short hair are going even shorter—Doja Cat buzzed her head, and Saoirse Ronan just debuted an ultra-short platinum bob.

On October 2, Ronan's hairstylist Adir Abergel posted an Instagram reel showing how he styled and cut the actor's hair for her appearance at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 24 Show at Paris Fashion Week.

Ronan's new 'do was a jawline-length bob with subtle waves. The roots of her hair were a light brunette that quickly transitioned into an ashy, icy platinum blonde that continued to the ends of her hair. Her entire mane was an even length, with no framing strands or textured ends—just a true blunt cut.

The cut is a total switch-up from her last hairstyle. Though still short, her last bob stopped at the middle of her neck and was a more natural golden blonde color with soft highlights. She's also been known to play with blunt bangs in the past, rather than the sleek version we are seeing now.

Ronan paired the new style with a quintessentially Louis Vuitton ensemble. To walk the orange-hued carpet and sit in the front row for the brand's latest collection, Ronan wore an abstract floral dress that resembled stained glass windows in design, texture, and color. On top of the sequined fabric was a white ribbon starting at her neckline and flowing down to the slit in the middle of her dress. She paired the dress with white heels, a Louis Vuitton purse, and some simple rings and necklaces.

As for glam, she went for a "no makeup makeup" look that highlighted her natural features. Her skin was glossy perfection, with her freckles on full display. There was a rosy blush on her cheeks to give her a dash of color that matched the hue of her glossy lips. Her eyes finished off the look with liner on her top water line and a small coat of mascara.

The final touch to her look was her milky, "your nails but better" manicure that looked like her nails with a perfect glossy finish with just a tinge of pink—perfectly coordinating with her LV outfit.
