These Mimic Disbars are pretty cool! These Dispars grew up in a school of Bartletts and have taken on the Bartlett colors except for the distinguishing Dispar red square dorsal fin and orange face stripe.

Whats so special about the aussie copperband that make it that much more ?
The biggest difference is that arrive in great condition and eat right away. The price comes from the collection process and higher freight costs. They are collected by better methods and actually cared for properly in Australia. Most copperbands come from Indo where most fish are collected poorly and not cared for. The good divers in Indo dont really bother collecting copperbands.

thanks i was just wondering i know aussie fish r always more money but usually the colors r way better or some kind of noticable difference that people preffer even me lol. I just saw the pic and didnt see no dif so was just wondering if there was something that i didnt see. Makes sense though not many survive from indo so if aussie ones actually survive and thrive i can see why its worth it im sure i spent more then that on trying to get a indo one to survive over the yrs
