With the recent Equifax data breach still fresh on the minds of 143 million people, the timing couldn't be better for a former con artist turned "good guy" to visit Louisville and offer free information on cybersecurity.

Between the ages of 16 and 21, Frank Abagnale successfully posed as an airline pilot, an attorney, a doctor and cashed millions in fraudulent checks. Hollywood turned his exploits into the film "Catch Me If You Can," starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Today, Abagnale has transformed from one of the world’s most notorious con men to an international cybersecurity expert who has worked with the FBI and frequently lectures at public events.

On Thursday, Oct 12, join the AARP Fraud Watch Network for a free presentation by Abagnale on protecting yourself from identity theft.

The event will be held the Kentucky Center for Performing Arts, Bomhard Theater, 501 W Main St.
