Katie Holmes, 45, looks stony-faced in chilly NYC... after ex-husband Tom Cruise, 61, lands a HUGE producing and developing deal with Warner Bros.

Katie Holmes failed to crack a smile when in chilly New York City on Wednesday afternoon.

The Dawson's Creek alumni was seen walking down a street in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan as she held onto a beverage in a plastic bottle.

The brunette beauty, who turned 45-years-old last month, covered up in a long caramel beige double breasted coat with a generous collar and front pockets.

The Secret actress added a black shirt with layers of necklaces over it. And she also had pale gray sweatpants on as she added black Adidas sneakers and had a black 'taxi purse' over her shoulder.

She made a statement with her oversized rectangular sunglasses that had ruby red edges, which had a slight 1970s look.

This comes after her ex-husband Tom Cruise landed a huge producing and developing deal with Warner Bros.

Katie was wed to Tom from 2006 until 2012.

Cruise is ringing in the new year with a brand new deal with Warner Bros. Pictures to develop and produce new movies following his long partnership with Paramount.

The 61-year-old actor first signed a deal with Paramount back in 1992 through his now-defunct Cruise/Wagner Productions with former partner Paula Wagner.

While Cruise's formal deal with Paramount ended in 2006, he has continued to work with them, chiefly through his Mission: Impossible film series.

This new Warner Bros. deal will be non-exclusive, via Deadline, allowing the action icon to continue working with other studios, including Paramount.

The deal will allow Cruise - who his Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two co-star Hannah Waddingham recently raved about - to now have a new office on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank.

Cruise hasn't made a movie at Warner Bros. since 2014's Edge of Tomorrow, and his other movies at the studio include 2012's Rock of Ages, 2003's The Last Samurai, 1999's Eyes Wide Shut, 1994's Interview With the Vampire and his breakthrough roles in 1983's Risky Business and The Outsiders.

He also starred in 1999's Magnolia, which was distributed through Warner Bros.-owned New Line Cinema.

'We are thrilled to be working with Tom, an absolute legend in the film industry,' said Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group’s Co-Chairs and CEOs Michael De Luca & Pam Abdy in a statement on Tuesday.

'Our vision, from day one, has been to rebuild this iconic studio to the heights of its glory days,' they added, revealing Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav mentioned bringing Cruise in when he took over.

'In fact, when we first sat down with David Zaslav to talk about joining the Warner Bros. Discovery team, he said to us, "We are on a mission to bring Warner Bros. back – we have the best resources, storytelling IP, and talent in the business – and we need to bring Tom Cruise back to Warner Bros!"' they said.

'Today, that becomes a reality and we are one step closer to achieving our ambition. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Tom back to Warner Bros. and look forward to bringing more of his genius to life on screen in the years ahead,' they concluded.

Cruise added in his own statement, 'I have great respect and admiration for David, Pam, Mike, and the entire team at Warner Bros. Discovery and their commitment to movies, movie fans, and the theatrical experience. I look forward to making great movies together!'

Cruise is currently shooting Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 2 for Paramount, and he's also making an untitled project with Space X for Universal, that would see him become the first civilian to walk outside of the International Space Station.

Together Tom and Katie have a daughter named Suri Cruise.

She was seen with her mother in NYC last month to celebrate the star's 45th birthday.

Holmes had on a black dress with feather detailing along the hem and white, pointy-toe boots.

Suri, 17, was almost as tall as her mom. She had on a gray winter coat, a maroon scarf and black tights with black ballet flats.

Suri is expected to graduate from high school in June and head to college in fall 2024.
