The Texas singer, 51, who shares her 16-year-old daughter Mysty Kid with the journalist, 50, kept it casual for their lunch date in a pair of stylish dungarees.

Sharleen layered her denim dungarees with a basic white T-shirt, while completing the dressed down ensemble with a pair of white Converse trainers.
She opted for a fresh-faced make-up free look, while sweeping her raven tresses off her face and working them into a half-up-half-down hair style.
Meanwhile, Ashley also rocked an understated look which consisted of a loose-fitting white T-shirt and a pair blue jeans with some black flip flops and shades.

The pair enjoyed an al fresco lunch as they sat outside a cafe together while tucking into a plate of food, with Ashley's adorable pooch sat at their feet.
According to Sharleen's husband Bryn Williams Instagram account, he busy in Colwyn Bay Wales at his restaurant while his wife is staying in London.
The tied the knot to long-time partner Bryn in a picturesque ceremony at St.Tyrnogs Church, Llandyrnog Denbighshire, Wales, last September.
According to The Sun, the pair hosted a reception for 500 of their nearest and dearest in a marquee at their home. It is also reported that close pal Chris Evans gave the pair his Aston Martin DB9 to drive to the bash.
A source revealed to the publication: 'It was the most beautiful day and even the grey skies and torrential rain didn’t put a dampener on things — everyone had a ball.
'Their reception marquee was enormous and some of the locals were joking that it was the size of a football pitch', they added.
Sharlene first announced her engagement to the culinary star in February 2017, after a decade of dating.
