David Arquette said he feels lucky to have a 'beautiful' relationship with his ex-wife Courteney Cox after a difficult split in 2010.
The couple – who starred together in the famous 'Scream horror franchise – are parents of 18-year-old Coco and have been married from 1999 to 2010.
David, 51 – who divorced from Courteney, 58, officially in 2013 – said he is glad they were able to remain friends over the years and happily co-parent together with no issues.

Speaking to Closer US magazine, he said: 'Today we are great co-parents to our daughter, Coco. So that's really beautiful.'
The former actor turned wrestler, also revealed their daughter is thriving and recently got her first car as she is learning to drive.
David is now married to Christina McLarty, 41, after they tied the knot in 2015 and the couple have since welcomed two sons - Charlie, eight, and Augustus, five.
Courteney on the other hand, has been in a long-term relationship with Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid since 2013, and they seem to be going stronger than ever.

When David opened up about his second marriage, he revealed they have a tight family unit and he feels lucky to be married to such an amazing woman.
'My boys are just complete characters, both of them. I'm so grateful to Christina. She's just like the brains of the operation. The woman behind the man,' he said.
The Hollywood star started dating Entertainment Tonight correspondent Christina back in 2011 after splitting from Courteney in 2010.
David insisted that marriage is 'hard work', but he is happy they always found a way to get through difficult times together.

He added: 'It's tough. You have to figure out how to really make it work with each other, to hear each other and allow each other to be yourselves, but also to have your strong boundaries.'
The former couple starred for a fifth instalment of the popular horror franchise last year, returning as characters Dewey Riley and Gail Weathers.
Speaking to the New York Times, David described acting with Cox over 10 years later as 'cathartic'.
'It's a cathartic experience to just be able to act opposite Courteney. It's been 25 years of our lives. We've grown up together. We have a child together.'
