Size: 5.4x3.7x3.4cm

Mineral: Beudantite

Locality: Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia

Description: Beudantite is not a common species. It is a secondary mineral with lead, iron, arsenate, sulfate with the formula PbFe3(AsO4)(SO4)(OH)6. This particular specimen is quite nice because of the alternating gold and brown colored faces. The largest crystal is approximately 0.4cm. That is a pretty respectable size for the species. A great example of another rare mineral from the famed Tsumeb Mine.
