Is it even brunch if someone’s not enjoying a fun little drink, like a bloody mary or mimosa? It's hard to imagine it. So we're here to make the case that homemade brunches can be just as exciting as the ones you get at a restaurant, starting with the best brunch cocktail (and mocktail!) recipes around. Whether you like wine, beer, sparkling wine, tequila, vodka, or are opting for non-alcoholic drinks, we've got something for you! These classic daytime drinks are light, refreshing, and will pair well with any brunch spread. Check out our list of 51 brunch cocktail and mocktail drink recipes for ideas on what to serve at yours.

We’ve got recipes for all the brunch classics as well as TONS of twists, too. Try our flamin’ hot bloody marys (yep, like the Cheetos!) or taco bloody marys, or our mimosa margaritas or cherry bomb mimosas. The spin-off options are truly endless; we're especially into all sorts of crossovers, like our tomato tini, champagne margaritas, and cold brew sangria.

Bored of the basics, and want something extra outstanding to go with your pancakes or waffles and scrambled, poached, or fried eggs? Try a vanilla peach bellini, a St. Germain spritz, or a michelada for a drink that’ll taste new and exciting and familiar.

Serving a crowd? We got you too. Try our wine cocktail recipes (red sangria or cold brew sangria), or one of our punches, like our lemon-lime berry brunch punch or pineapple peach Prosecco punch. They’ll go great alongside our favorite brunch bakes, like our french toast casserole or our cheesy croissant casserole.

Need a pick-me-up with your cocktail? Try our espresso martini, or our vodka spiked Black Russian for a little caffeine with your booze, or this espresso mocha crunch mocktail for when you just want a bit of caffeine. If you wanted to pair them with one of our coffee dessert recipes, we won’t judge. It’s brunch, after all—anything goes!

Tomato Tini

Instead of olive brine, this martini gets its rich flavor and vibrant color from tomatoes. If you’re skeptical, hear us out: Think of this cocktail as a cleaner, crisper version of a Bloody Mary. And the botanical flavors of gin pair surprisingly well with the tomato, and evokes flavors of both the fruit and the leaves of the plant (an aroma that has inspired many trendy candles, BTW).

Screwdriver Cocktail

If you asked people what is the first “cocktail” they’ve ever had, they’d probably say it was a screwdriver. It’s a stalwart of college parties and boozy brunches for its simplicity and accessibility. Love two-ingredient cocktails? Why not try out another fruity classic, like the Cape Codder. Or get a little fancy with a vodka tonic.

Beyhive Bellini

a blend of honey, tequila, peach nectar, and lemon juice makes this cocktail the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, while the prosecco keeps it light

In the words of Queen Bey: “If you stay ready, you won’t have to get ready.” Trust us—you don’t want to be caught “getting ready” for the arrival of a new Beyoncé Knowles-Carter album. At Delish, we’re “stay ready” kind of people, so naturally we’re pouring up this bubbly Beyhive bellini as soon as the music drops. A blend of honey, reposado tequila, peach nectar, and lemon juice makes this cocktail the perfect balance of sweet and slightly tangy, while the bubbles keep it light and refreshing.

Classic Mimosa

To bring that sweet and tangy flavor you can only find in fresh citrus, squeezing juice from fresh oranges is a must! To play off the sweet orange juice, we prefer a dry or semi-dry sparkling white wine. Since Champagne can be particularly pricey, a dry Prosecco or Cava will also do the trick.

Originating in 17th century England as a method to preserve fruit, shrubs eventually made their way over to colonial America, evolving into fruit- and vinegar-infused syrups used as a mixer for water, seltzer, and cocktails. This strawberry-lemonade version only takes 4 ingredients to create, and will be the base for the most refreshing summer mocktails (and more!).
