Adam Hazbin Hotel finale Episode 8.

Hazbin Hotel had a fiery finale as the characters of Hell went up against Adam and his angels from Heaven, but Charlie had the upper hand against Adam. Here’s what happened to the angel and what it means.

In the finale of Season 1, Charlie’s plan to convince Heaven to stop the Extermination doesn’t work. It only fuels Adam and the exterminators to want to kill more demons. The clock runs out and Charlie and the others are ready for battle.

With Vaggie having once been an angel, they learn angelic weapons are the only thing that can kill an angel. A battle to save the Hazbin Hotel and the demons ensues as they fight off Adam and the angels.

The animated series had a few twists and shocking moments, especially the outcome of Adam and what it means going forward with Season 2.

What happened to Adam after the finale?

Adam is most likely dead and gone for good after the Hazbin Hotel Season 1 finale as he was killed with an angelic weapon.

During the battle, Adam was able to get past Alastor and focus on Charlie. His angelic strength proved she was no match for him. The tables turned when Lucifer appeared to protect his daughter and fight Adam himself. The King and Princess of Hell used their combined strength to beat Adam to a pulp.

But that’s not what killed him. Charlie had her father show him mercy. Until Niffty snuck up behind him and stabbed him repeatedly in the back with an angel steel dagger. What happens to Adam after that? Does his being the first human and angel bring him back to life?

It doesn’t appear so as everyone kind of forgets he’s there. As well as Lute going back to Heaven without his body. Some may be inclined to think that Adam may resurrect as a demon. He was clearly not a good guy and relished in killing. But Hazbin Hotel doesn’t address it. Likely because Adam was killed with angelic steel the one thing that can harm and kill angels.

A fan on Reddit also brought up why Sir Pentious was resurrected in Heaven and Adam is dead.

“Adam was killed by an angelic weapon- a lot of people will say ‘but Sir Pentious came back that means-‘ NERP, Sir Pentious was killed by a lazer blast,” said the fan. “Angelic Steel is made to combat this, it does the same as a normal weapon would do to humans, to demons AND angels. The difference between Sir Pentious’s death and Adam’s is that Adam was stabbed multiple times by a Angelic weapon, whereas Pentious was simply just erased by a blast.”

Going into Hazbin Hotel Season 2, Adam’s death will likely be a hot topic in Heaven and Hell, but the focus will shift to the reveal of Lilith and Lute becoming head angel.
