THE HOTEL

A very warm welcome to “Die Reederin”

Die Reederin is a small, family run hotel in the historical and vibrant heart of the hanseatic city of Luebeck. A period property, steeped in history, the old town house was home to the shipping company F.H.Bertling for over 150 years. The building has been sympathetically and tastefully restored, with great care given to unique historical features.

The hotel is located in the medieval heart of Luebeck’s Old Town, a Unesco World Heritage Site, surrounded by water on all sides and, partly, by embankments and park areas. The river Trave, the Museum Harbour as well as the historical castle gate and Luebeck’s other main attractions are only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Opening Die Reederin is a dream fulfilled for us and we look forward to welcoming our guests.

We hope you enjoy the hotel, feel at home and dream along with us.
