BLUE SAPPHIRE FLAX
This is a beautiful cultivar with large blue flowers on compact plants! Linum (flax) is a hardy perennial native to temperate and subtropical regions of the world. Linum species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including the Cabbage Moth, The Nutmeg, and the Setaceous Hebrew Character.
Several flaxes are cultivated as garden ornamentals, including this blue-flowered species blue sapphire. The plants are easy to grow, and are tolerant of poor and dry soils.

GERMINATION
Flax seeds are easy to germinate! Lightly rake seeds into the area that they are to be grown. This should be a sunny, or partly sunny area. Water seeds in, and keep moist until germination.

Ferri Seeds ships to the USA regularly, though unfortunately not through the Etsy platform. Etsy rules don't allow anyone outside of the US, to sell seeds to the US. This is an Etsy rule only. We do ship to USA, just not through Etsy.

Shop early for best selection! Due to inventory shortages, and increased demand worldwide, many seeds sell out quickly and we may not be able to obtain more for some time. Thank you for your understanding.
IMPORTANT
Your seeds are best planted right away. If you are not able to, they are best stored in a plastic zipper bag and placed in a dry cold location or refrigerator until you are ready to plant them. Be sure they are clearly labelled.
Do not eat the seeds or any part of the plants that they produce. Due to the fact that about 80% of all plant species are not edible (contain toxins/poisons of some kind) these are likely to be poisonous. Ornamental use only.
