GIANT GUNNERA
This is one of the largest hardy herbaceous plants available! Plants produce large puckered and lobed leaves with spiky stems. This plant can be grown in regular soil, or near water where it will become enormous! Absolutely stunning, and an eye-catcher for any large garden.

GERMINATION
Start these seeds right away to preserve viability, no matter the time of year. Sow the seeds on the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and water in. Leave them at room temperature for 4-5 weeks. If not growth appears a cold treatment may be required to break dormancy. Then cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 4 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to room temperature for them to germinate. Germination is in 14-45 days after the warming period.

Ferri Seeds ships to the USA! We ship there regularly and are familiar with how to get your seeds over the border safely to you. Unfortunately we cannot sell seeds to USA through the Etsy platform. Etsy rules don't allow anyone outside of the USA, to sell seeds to the USA. This is an Etsy rule only. We do ship to USA, just not through Etsy. All of us here at Ferri Seeds are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Shop early for best selection! Due to inventory shortages, and increased demand worldwide, many seeds sell out quickly and we may not be able to obtain more for some time. Thank you for your understanding.
IMPORTANT
Your seeds are best planted right away. If you are not able to, they are best stored in a plastic zipper bag and placed in a dry cold location or refrigerator until you are ready to plant them. Be sure they are clearly labelled.
Do not eat the seeds or any part of the plants that they produce. Due to the fact that about 80% of all plant species are not edible (contain toxins/poisons of some kind) these are likely to be poisonous. Ornamental use only.
