Melissa Lachance and Andrew Schalm

BRISTOL — Monica and Jerry Paiva of Bristol are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa J. Lachance, to Andrew F. Schalm, son of Janet and Joe Schalm of Moultonborough.

Miss Lachance graduated from Newfound Regional High School and Rivier College. She is currently employed as a preschool teacher with Laconia Elm Street School.

Mr. Schalm graduated from Moultonborough Academy and Plymouth State University. He is currently employed as a seventh and eighth grade science/math teacher with Wentworth Elementary School.

A May 24 wedding is planned.
