Katy Perry Just Announced She and Orlando Bloom Are Expecting Their First Child

Um, excuse me, hate to bother you, but Katy Perry just dropped her new song, "Never Worn White," about her future marriage to Orlando Bloom, and in the video she reveals the couple is expecting their first child together.

Perry, who recently "fainted" on the set of American Idol, says it's your turn to swoon. On Wednesday, March 4, around 1:30 p.m. ET, she tweeted a little preview that gave away so much and so little at the same time:

"You are cordially invited to the premiere of #NeverWornWhite," she said in the tweet. "Join me on the @YouTube watch page tonight at 8:30 PM PT and chat with me (promise not a bot! 😛) before the video premieres at 9 PM PT!" For all of y'all on Eastern Standard Time, that's 11:30 P.M EST, and midnight, respectively.

I immediately had so many questions:

1. Is that hand placement on her stomach a pregnancy announcement?

2. If so, was that floral look a nod to Beyoncé?!

3. Is that the set of Love is Blind? Did Perry just throw some pink paint on it?

The answers are: yes, maybe, and who knows. It turns out that Perry and Bloom are expecting their first child together.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged in February 2019, after dating on and off for about three years.

“A shallow person will have only shallow relationships," Bloom wrote on Instagram the day of their engagement. "Real love is not one person clinging to another, it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality. Antoine de Saint-Exupery, author of The Little Prince, wrote in a work called Wind, Sand and Stars, ‘Love is not two people gazing at each other, but two people looking ahead together in the same direction.'"

Perry simply wrote "full bloom" as her caption about the engagement. Rumor has it a wedding is happening in June.
