Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni Walked the Emmys Red Carpet Together, and Fans Can’t Get Enough

Mulder and Scully. Kirk and Spock. Benson and Stabler. It's hard to pick which TV duo has the best chemistry, but Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni are certainly in the mix. The Law and Order: SVU costars walked the 2022 Emmys red carpet together—they're presenting during the ceremony—and their chemistry even when out of character was on full display.

This isn't the first time they've taken each other as dates to (and copresented at) the show! At the 2010 Emmys, the besties were all smiles.

During their preshow interviews, Hargitay and Meloni had nothing but praise for each other, which naturally got fans right in the feels. Yes we agree, MARISKA HARGITAY AND CHRIS MELONI will ALWAYS BE FAMOUS.

“Mariska didn’t hesitate a second when they were asked do they ever get sick of working with each other she immediately said ‘no, never. i love him.’ LIKE LEAVE ME HERE TO FUCKING DIE,” wrote one exuberant Twitter user.

“A jolt of electricity runs through my body every single time I see Mariska & Meloni together. #Emmys” added another.

Here they are declining to answer the big question: These two ever gonna get it on?

But the most surprising reaction comes from, um, Triscuits?

As it turns out, the Triscuits social media team (or perhaps just one person on the account who is very dedicated to the bit) has a thing for Mr. Meloni, and has tweeted at him many times.

The account's official position on tonight's show is that because Meloni was not nominated, the cracker will not be watching, but because he is presenting, the cracker (what is my job? sometimes I wonder) will be watching that part.

And here's the account lying its little Triscuit butt off. Clearly these shenanigans have been approved by the “boss!” I'm just sick of the fake news from our nation's most trusted snacks.
