Catherine Zeta-Jones took to social media to share an adorable childhood throwback of her dressed as a Welsh guard.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, 16 March, Catherine shared the photo of herself when she was six years old, playing dress up as a guard.

The Welsh Hollywood star made reference to her dream job as a child being a Welsh guard and jokingly, made comment to how her career couldn't have gone more of a different route.

The actress captioned the photo: "TBT. When your dreams and aspirations of one day becoming a Welsh Guard never come to fruition… you become an actor so that maybe one day you can play one! 😂 six years old and feeling it !"

The star has since become a well-known actress in Hollywood and best known for her iconic role in the film Chicago.

Playing the main part of show girl turned murderess, Velma Kelly, Catherine went onto win a prestigious Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2003.

Catherine recently shared three throwback photos of the amazing time she spent on set of Chicago on social media too.

Paying tribute to the winners of the Oscars 2023, the star captioned the images: "Oscars!!! 20 years ago I was fortunate to pick up a little guy for ‘Chicago’ sending congratulations to all the nominees for tonight’s celebrations!"

The first image she shared depicts her taking part in the opening number of the musical, All That Jazz, and sees her surrounded by dancers. The second and third shots also show her taking part in other musical numbers from the film — dressed in iconic, flapper-style 1920s outfits and sporting a chic bob hairstyle.

Velma was iconic!
