The Adidas Samba is, without question, one of the most discussed, worn, and hyped sneaker silhouettes available today. But, while countless colorways of the classic model have been revealed over the past 12 months, none of them have been quite as luxe as the upcoming Mita x Adidas Samba ‘Ask’.

Dropping as part of the coveted ‘Consortium Cup’ line, Mita's take on the old-school silhouette gives the materials a total upgrade. Unlike conventional Sambas, which are generally made from smooth leather, the ‘Ask’ boasts a premium ostrich leather build that's painted in a dark charcoal color scheme. A dash of grey suede hits the toebox, while the Three Stripe branding across the lateral and medial sidewalls is decked out in nylon and accented in a spicy red hue.

The sneaker's standout feature is the metallic silver tongue, a design made popular by Grace Wales Bonner and Pharrell Williams, which can be worn flipped up or folded over the lacing system. All of this sits atop a blacked-out rubber midsole, and comes packed in a special edition shoebox.

Mita and Adidas go way, way back. Their first collab, a spin on the Campus 80s, dropped a dozen years ago. Since then, the duo have linked on countless kicks, including a pair of Forum 84 Lows in 2022 that inspired these Sambas.

The Mita x Adidas Samba ‘Ask’ is set to launch later this month at Mita, Adidas, and select stockists globally.
