Raceme

A monopodial inflorescence in which the flowers are borne on pedicels along a central axis, with the terminal flowers being the youngest and last to open. There are many different types of racemes; the spike and the spadix are racemes in which the flowers are sessile.

A more or less elongate inflorescence with pedicellate flowers arising in a sequence from the bottom up from an unbranched central axis.

An unbranched flower spike where the flowers are borne on pedicels.

Unbranched, elongated inflorescence (flower cluster) with stalked flowers, the earliest blooming at the bottom, the least mature at the top.

A type of flower cluster. Each flower has a short stem and is arranged along a central axis.

A flower cluster in which the flowers are borne along the rachis on pedicels of nearly equal length, with the lower flowers blossoming before the upper ones.

A flowering spike or cluster where the flowers are borne along the peduncle on pedicels of similar length.

It refers to a definite inflorescence, with the main axis bearing stalked flowers which are borne in acropetal succession.

An unbranched, elongated flower grouping, with individual flowers on distinct stalks, with most mature flowers at bottom of stalk.

Where one-flowered pedicels are arranged in succession along a general peduncle.

An unbranched, spikelike inflorescence in which each flower has an individual stalk.

A simple, unbranched inflorescence with flowers on short pedicels.

An unbranched flower stem with stalked flowers, the newest flowers forming at its top.

An inflorescence in which the flowers are borne on pedicels along a central axis, with the terminal flower being the last to open; spikes and spadices are specialised types of racemes in which the flowers are sessile.

A± elongated inflorescence, in which the individual flowers are usually stalked (cf spike). The lowest flower opens first, and then the others in sequence towards the tip, which can continue to form new buds.

A type of inflorescence, where the flowers are arranged on a long, usually upright stem, each flower having a separate flower stalk as in delphiniums.

An unbranched inflorescence, each flower having a pedicel attaching it to the main flower stalk, or axis.

A type of inflorescence, where the flowers are arranged around an elongated stem, each flower having a separate stalk, as in delphiniums.

An unbranched flower cluster, usually conical in outline, with stalked flowers borne on an elongated axis, often without a terminal flower.

A flower cluster with the separate flowers attached by short equal-length stalks at equal distances along a central stem with the lowest flowers blooming first and the youngest blossom at the top.
