Nikita star Lyndsy Fonseca has found her next TV gig.
The actress has been tapped to co-star in Amazon’s comedy pilot Down Dog, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Down Dog centers on Logan (Bad Teacher‘s Josh Casaubon), a surfer devoid of ambition and described as a Peter Pan who has been sliding through life on his charisma, charm and good looks. He is forced to take life seriously when he’s left in charge of his ex-girlfriend’s yoga studio.
Fonseca will play Winter, one of the yoga teachers at the studio. The character is described as a stunning if bedraggled waif who is unreliable and always late — and a love interest for Logan.
Robin Schiff created the project and will pen the script. Brad Silberling will direct the pilot.
Fonseca, whose credits include How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives and feature Kick-Ass 2, is repped by ICM Partners, Management 360 and Morris Yorn.
