Original Item: Only One Available. Extremely rare! This is a semi cylinder transport box that was designed to contain a flare pistol and multiple flares. it was issued to members of the Luftwaffe for their survival packs. It is nicely labeled Notsignalbehälter which means "container for survival or emergency" and is a semi-cylinder box in which a failure gun and flares ware stored. It was part of a Luftwaffe survival. The cylinder measures 13" H x 4" W x 8" L. Offered in very good condition, but empty. There is an informative website that details the use of these at this link.
