Last Thursday, world-renowned competitive eater Joey Chestnut won his 12th title at the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, shoveling down 71 franks and buns in just 10 minutes. This Thursday, you can share a hot dog with the legend himself, as Chestnut visits Indianapolis to unveil his new line of four dipping sauces.

Chestnut will give away 1,000 bottles of his sauce at an official launch party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 11 on Monument Circle. Fans can take photos and receive autographs from Chestnut, as well as sample sauces and eat free hot dogs.

The new line of dipping sauces includes four different flavors, all inspired by Chestnut's travels around the world. From "Nashville Hot Chicken" to "Orange Citrus Habanero," the sauces are perfect, Chestnut says, for anyone wanting to add some extra kick to their chicken wings, brats, sandwiches and, of course, hot dogs.

His personal favorite? The creamy green Hatch and jalapeno.

"I really love it because it can go on anything, whether it's your wings, your taco or as a finishing sauce," Chestnut told IndyStar.

While Chestnut is still recovering from his Fourth of July performance, he says he'll eat "probably more than 10" hot dogs at this week's launch party.

Chestnut will be making at least one more visit to Indianapolis later this year as he looks to defend his title in the annual St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail Eating Championship — a competition he has won for the last six years.

The launch party, hosted by Kroger in partnership with Downtown Indy Inc., will take place in the southwest quadrant of Monument Circle. Admission to the party is free, but guests are encouraged to bring bottles of water that will be donated to the Indiana War Memorials Foundation.
