Y-tube with high quality glass that can be easily washed and can be used for subsequent reuse. Y-tube olfactometer is used to study olfaction preference of insects in two choices. The two choices can be either both test materials (in this case subjective preference over A to B or vice versa are studied) or control vs test materials (in this scenario, if at all there is any effect on the insects that may either attraction or rejection are studied). The Y-tube are available in different sizes and formats. The one is referred here has a 10cm stem length and 8cm arm length for each of the arm (two arms).
The stem tube opening is dia 50mm while the arms have 38mm opening for handling medium sized insects. The unit can be used to work with small insect too.
