Rumer Willis and her musician boyfriend, Derek Thomas, welcomed a daughter back in April, and just yesterday, Rumer shared where her unique name, Louetta Isley, came from. While it may sound musical for those who have a penchant for jazz, Rumer revealed that the unique name was a mashup of things that she and her father, Bruce, love.

"Her name is a mix of things I love," Rumer wrote on her Instagram Stories yesterday. A follower asked her how she chose her daughter's name and Rumer posted an answer alongside a photo of her and her baby. "I have always loved the name Lou so was thinking of that for both a boy or a girl, but then when we found out she was a girl we came up with Louetta."

"We wanted to give her options," she added. "Me and my dads [sic] favorite singers are Lou= Louie Armstrong, Etta= Etta James, Isley= Isley Brother."

A second question asked how many children Rumer wanted.

"Five or six. As many that want to come in and have me be their mama," she wrote.

Previously, Rumer opened up about her daughter's name, saying that it was the result of a typo. Back in August, she shared that originally, she had decided on the name Loretta.

"We were thinking about the name Loretta, and it was a typo. Her dad and I were texting, and he left the 'R' out of Loretta, and it was just Louetta," she told People. "I was like, 'Oh, I love that!' I feel like it was one of those kind of divine intervention universe moments, and we figured it out actually quite early in my pregnancy."

She added that she wasn't quite sure at first and felt a lot of pressure to get it right.

"What was scary was, I love this name, but oh man, is it going to be her name? Is it the right name? What if she comes out and doesn't look like this?" she remembered. "I fell in love with the name so much, so early on, that I was then worried that it wouldn't work. But then she came out, and I mean, to me, at least right now, I was going to name her Lou, whether she was a boy or a girl."
