This is considered to be one of the more significant examples of Swiss aquamarine, certainly the only one I have ever seen for sale. It comes from a small single pocket found in August of 2017 by a lucky collector in the field, and sold to Brent Lockhart's Swiss source, Siber & Siber at that time. The main crystal is oddly shaped, and tapers to the bottom, measuring 3.5 x 2 x 1.5 cm. It is a robust blue color, somewhat translucent although not gemmy or up to Pakistani standards for an aquamarine. Then again, there are thousands of those and only one pocket of these! There are small needlelike schorl tourmaline crystals growing in the white feldspar matrix, and also some tiny crystals included in the aquamarine as well.
