Leaf scorpionfish are extremely thin fish, almost translucid. They come in yellow, purple, black or white. They are ambush predators, living on the benthic zone. These voracious fish are very poor swimmers, they go with the surge but sometimes attach themselves to coral with their hand-like pectoral fins, and then wait for a prey to pass by.
