I was happy to see this pretty little new beetle in a particularly dusty corner of my house today, then rapidly not quite so thrilled when I realised what it was. I only found two, so there may be hope. As a nature lover I am not prepared to say where they are now, but there are limits even to my enthusiasm for wildlife. It could be worse, though - bed bugs, cat fleas, even clothes moths. I don't care so much about the carpet!
