Étymologie is a sustainable lifestyle brand on a mission to use science, ancient knowledge, and an ethical, innovative approach to develop natural, vegan skincare products delivering lasting visible results for beauty, the planet, and its people.

The name Étymologie stems from the Ancient Greek “etumon” meaning “true” and referring to origins of meaning. “At Étymologie, we believe that innovative chemistry, transparently and sustainably sourced natural ingredients, and inclusivity on a fundamental level can all work together to bring out natural beauty so people look and feel their best.”

Founder, Raquela is passionate about biochemistry and how botanical extracts interact with health and overall well-being. She started Étymologie while completing her MSc. in Food Science at McGill University in Montréal, and has developed a line of natural skincare products that are safe, sustainable, and effective, and 100% plant-based.

Today the brand offers a line of four products to help customers highlight their natural beauty.
