Libe Barer is opening up!
The actress will be heard in the brand new Disney Channel series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur as the voice of Lunella’s best friend and manager, Casey.
The series follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City, the duo works together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger.
Libe has previously voiced characters on DuckTales and Disney Star Darlings, as well as starring on screen in Sneaky Pete.
We caught up with the actress ahead of the premiere of her new Disney series and got to know 10 Fun Facts about her.

- 1. I was born in Los Angeles and currently live in New York.
- 2. I found skydiving zen.
- 3. I am a mermaid who loves the ocean, but is terrified of fish.
- 4. My favorite places in NYC are the Metrograph and Neue Gallery.
- 5. We recorded most of the first season of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur remotely when we were locked down. I converted my closet in my one bedroom apartment in Brooklyn into a recording studio, and every time we recorded I would empty out the contents of my closet and reconstruct my little studio.
- 6. My sister played the only other character in a Marvel show whose power was having a dinosaur.
- 7. I got my BA from UCLA and never picked up my diploma.
- 8. I have dreams of going to grad school for literature some day.
- 9. I’m decidedly a cat person.
- 10. I have been addicted to caffeine since I was 14.
Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will premiere TONIGHT (February 10) on Disney Channel and will premiere on Disney+ on February 15th. Watch the trailer here!
