◼︎ Biography

Ms. Phippen is a civil defense trial attorney whose primary practice area is medical malpractice defense. Ms. Phippen has over 10 years of experience as an attorney, including all aspects of civil litigation. Before attending law school, Ms. Phippen graduated from Utah State University with a duel bachelor’s degree in Law and Constitutional Studies and History. Currently, Ms. Phippen is a member of the women lawyer committees of both the Utah Bar and the Defense Research Institute.  

Outside of the law, Ms. Phippen is a founding member of Ogden First, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization and preservation of historic buildings. She also works to obtain certification of historic buildings to the National Register of Historic Places and assists in the acquisition of tax credits for the related rehabilitation.  

Personally, Ms. Phippen is a reader, consumer of documentaries, dog lover and mother of three.
