F.K. Waechter is a German artist and writer, as well as a theatre and film director. He contributed to the satirical magazine Pardon since 1962. He was responsible for the 'Welt im Spiegel' section together with Robert Gernhardt and F.W. Bernstein. He is one of the founders of the magazine Titanic and the so-called New Frankfurter School with fellow artists Hans Traxler, Robert Gernhardt, Chlodwig Poth, Eckhard Henscheid, Bernd Eilert and F.W. Bernstein.
