“Paul Manley Solution Architect Nuvei LLC Scottsdale, Arizona +1 (480) 321-9940 To whom it may concern: I am pleased to write a recommendation letter for Robert Kurst. I have worked with Robert for the last 8 years in several capacities, in separate collaborative teams, and as his direct manager. As the CTO of BaseCommerce and then as a Solution Architect at Nuvei I closely worked with Robert over a range of projects. During several of our projects Robert Kurst demonstrated his leadership ability, technical ability, and collaborative mindset. We have worked together on system integrations, technical incidents, and technology insourcing. During his time as the head of the application support we worked together on several incidents. He was able to align teams, communicate with the technical teams and business teams, fix database and code issues, apply hotfixes and resolve major problems. I can’t speak enough on how important it was to our organization to have Robert in such a critical role when it was needed. During these stressful times he had a very helpful attitude and was able to take ownership and responsibility of the issues. During his time as Technical Team Lead for our technology insourcing project we worked together to insource a very large and technical debt-ridden legacy system. This required a lot of technical knowledge, analysis, and collaboration to understand and ultimately take over this large and difficult piece of technology we inherited. Robert was able to start and organize the team, to bring the project up to speed with our CI/CD pipelines, to break down complex tasks and structure those with team members while also providing technical updates of his own, and finally to bring the pieces into alignment with modern software and adding technical stability to the project. I am confident that Robert Kurst will be a technical asset to your organization. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. +1 (480) 321-9940. Sincerely, Paul Manley”

Had one week to create an iOS app in a group of 3 people. Came in second place by creating "Motion Arcade". A game where two players held their iPhones as the controllers and used an iPad as the game board to play a twist on paddle board. Moving the iPhone would move the paddle on the iPad to hit the ball and try to score on your opponent.
