We want to fight the plastic which is not possible but by taking simple and collective steps we can win this war. summary of today's workshop After making our class constitution we have to execute these norms on our class. So, we decided to take a workshop on eco-friendly bags. In which we can use our norms such as teamwork, taking sessions etc. We have started this session with activity. At first it is hard for me to manage things like giving them instructions etc. But by minutes the game has taken a flow. And in the end we also gave some bags to our fellows. Which made them really happy. #teamwork #ecofroendlybags

My first week of holiday has started!! So you will see me a lot less on LinkedIn. But, you can plan ahead and stay top of mind, even when relaxing in a pool 🏊 or walking through a forest 🌲🌳. This episode is on plastics, and them being present everyone in our life. • Food packaging • building materials • And almost all products, from Bicycle helmets to strap on dildos (his example 😂😂) It's in our stores, in our houses and on garbage dumps. It's World Environment Day! The day is meant for creating awareness and action for the protection of the environment. We have had 51 of such days until now! I think, there is a good amount awareness about the harm caused by human activities to the environment. However, it is still a long way to go in terms of concrete actions on this front. Bulk of the efforts on sustainability are driven by regulations. There is a great need to have an environment and sustainability first approach in business models. Katie Weston: Thanks to Sierra 57 Consult Ltd, I will attend the #BPF 90th Annual Dinner this week. Ahead of this, I’ve spoken with our MD Andy Freer about Measomfreer ‘s longstanding affiliation with them. Unsurprisingly, there was a lot of ground to cover because the BPF is the oldest plastics trade federation in the world (and only four years older than us!). The undisputed impact on our environment often overshadows plastic commodities' significant role throughout history. But the truth is, plastics have been instrumental in our nation’s defence in war, health, and economic stability and growth. All of which, Measom Freer has a story to tell. And now, the biggest challenge in our industry concerns how these materials can be a part of the solution to our eco-crisis. Not a day goes by when I am not conversing about #sustainability with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
