Step by step to preeminence!

Sentimental post time… NEXT.io was a turning point for me individually and professionally. I haven’t been in the betting and gaming space for long but the industry has welcomed me with open arms. While the industry is growing at a rapid pace, many of the key stakeholders have been stalwarts in the space for years. How do you gain traction in a space so concentrated with experienced and tenured executives? My plan: 1) Be a sponge - Take in as much information as possible. 2) Show up - Attend as many events as possible, be present, commit to the niche. 3) Provide value - Share insights and pose questions without the expectation of anything in return. 4) Business and personal brand first - Before “selling”, establish a credible brand online to show I’m in it for the long haul. I’ve done my best to accomplish all of these goals, and I know I’ve got more to prove, but last week was validation that I’m on the right track. Thanks to all the new connections and friends I’ve made this last week in NYC .
