🌊Exciting Update from the Depths as we hit a Milestone!🌊 In our most recent campaign, we collaborated with our sister company, Geo Oceans, to undertake a groundbreaking mission. For the first time, we successfully deployed our Stingray Scanner from Asset Deployed ROVs, bringing cutting-edge technology and unparalleled precision to this project. 🤝Working hand in hand with Geo Oceans, we leveraged their state-of-the-art ROV technology, equipped with a powerful 4k pressure water blaster to take on the challenge of clearing marine growth. This first stage paved the way for the next crucial steps in our inspection process. 🤔 Why the meticulous cleaning, you ask? The objective is to enable our Stingray scanner to seamlessly magnetise to the platform leg for a thorough inspection. Removing marine growth is not just a routine task; it's the key that unlocks the potential for precise inspections and maintenance. 🔍 Our focus was to inspect three strategic vertical strips where corrosion is more likely to rear its head. These strips are strategically positioned at depths ranging from -14 meters to -70 meters, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of the platform's structural integrity. Our meticulous approach to this joint venture guarantees that every inspection is backed by thorough data, providing insights that go beyond the surface. We often get asked "what is the longest distance of ASI’s ROV inspections?" ASI has a fleet of ROV’s which include the longest tether in each ROV class.
