1. A mind blowing fact Naso tangs have the ability to quickly change their skin color and appearance quickly to adapt their environment.

2. They possess sharp scalpels and spiny fins which serve as protection from predators.

3. Provided they are in good health they can live up 14 years in the wild.

4. Many fish enthusiasts around the globe prefer Naso tangs as pets.

5. Interestingly their skin does not produce mucus like other fish so the occasionally duffer from marine ich.

6. The males have caudal fins with elongated filaments from the corners the females don’t.

7. They are having an elongated body structure with a constricting caudal peduncle.

8. They have distinct yellow lines that run from their eye to the snout.

9. Their dorsal fins are covered in black horizontal stripes.

10. Lengthwise they span an average of 45 centimeters.
