Let´s try the crazy thing- Let´s win 13K enrollments for "OPENSAP Introduction to SAP DATASPHERE" in just 20 hours!

Dear network, may I ask for your kind support for a somewhat crazy idea?

In just 20 hours from now the opensap course “Introduction to SAP Datasphere” will start. Currently there are already nearly 10,000 participants enrolled. That's really quite an impressive number at the beginning of the course when you look at the numbers of enrollment of the many other courses on open.sap.com. I did that (yes, I actually looked at the stats for 190 courses there, I am so crazy) and there are only a handful of courses that had a significantly higher number of enrollments. However, my wish is that in the remaining 20 hours we all together try to manage to increase the current number of 10,000 participants to 13,000. So, in other words, we need not less than another 2,000+ enrollments - in 20 hours from now. In that case this course would exceed the initial number of enrollments for the former courses "SAPBW/4HANA in a nutshell" (initally 12,230 enrollments) or "SAP Analytics Cloud - become an Augmented BI Expert" (initially 12,955 enrollments).

I am #weird - am I, right? Well... ;-)

Why do I like that crazy idea?

Am I paid by SAP for this crazy idea? Well, unfortunately not... :-)), but there is another, much better explanation for this. Give me a chance to explain...

Well, yes, I am a bit crazy and I am a bit of a SAP nerd, somewhat "addicted" to SAP and especially to SAP Data Warehousing. I am somtimes wondering why, but that is a different story and I will not explain it here and now. ;-) But beyond of that there are really some quite good reasons why somebody should take into consideration to spread this word or even to enroll to this opensap course him-/herself.

SAP Datasphere is a really impressive, fascinating and great new product from SAP as part of their Analytics and Data Warehouse portfolio which comprises quite a few products having all a certain and long history. Datasphere is a comparatively new product, developed from scratch using new development paradigms and concepts. It has been launched - under a different name as SAP Data Warehouse Cloud - at the beginning of 2020. The product was significantly enhanced at the beginning of March 2023 to include powerful functionality taken from the product #SAPDataIntelligence and therefore renamed to SAP Datasphere. SAP has thus laid the foundation for SAP Datasphere to mature significantly. Now the time has come to build serious data warehouse and analytics solutions for demanding customer applications and data products using SAP Datasphere.

So, why should anybody delve deeper into SAP Datasphere exactly right now and build up the necessary know-how with this opensap training course?

1. Open.sap.com is always a great source to get a very good and partly even a deep overview in a great mix of high quality explanatory videos and practical hands-on exercises given by the product management, SAP consulting experts and SAP developers – and the best of all: There is absolutely no other cost for you participating in the course than the time you invest.

2. SAP Datasphere is currently gaining enormous momentum in the market and it can be reasonably assumed that the demand for employees and consultants with good SAP Datasphere skills will literally explode in the next 24 months.

3. SAP Datapshere is a fascinating product that inspires tremendously. The excellent and unique positioning as a tool that even the business units themselves can use without IT support, but also the IT department that naturally has much higher functional demands on a data warehouse & analytics product is really unique in the market.

4. SAP Datasphere is an essential and central component of the SAP Business Technology Platform. Every company that wants to use SAP BTP to develop its own solutions cannot get around the knowledge and use of SAP Datasphere beside all the other important central components of #SAPBTP.

5. SAP Datasphere enables the extremely fast and user-friendly creation of powerful data and analytics products which support and enables the business to generate business value.

6. The integrated data lineage and data catalogue functionality will inspire anyone who has ever dealt with challenges such as #datastewardship and #datagovernance. At least I am deeply impressed by this functionality.

7. Ease of use, scalability, flexibility and agility have been key design principles from the beginning.

8. The roadmap 2023 is so packed with exciting new features that it's time to get into SAP Datasphere now to get familiar at least with the fundamental concepts and the core functinality with a still reasonable invest of time. In two years time from now, it might be necessary to invest significantly more time due to the even more increased functionality at this point of time.

This is only a small, selected number of many more and very good reasons why you should enroll for the course now. But I do not want to make the story longer than necessary. At the end of the day, it is also just a lot of fun to use #SAPDatasphere and it will give anybody investing time to skill up now a very good professional perspective in the near future be it as an employee not only in IT or Analytics/BI departments, but also in the lines of businesses or be it as a external consultant working for a service provider.

Enroll now and enjoy SAP #Datasphere – it is really worth it!

So let us all push for the seemingly impossible and totally weird idea to win another 3,000 enrollments in just 20 hours from now on. Let´s spread the word worldwide - let us push this #opensap training course to new and unexpected limits.

And - last but not least - who dares shares this article - Thanks in advance!
