Verschlimmbessern.

Verschlimmbessern.

This is the worst part of a career gone wrong.

When you feel like nothing you do is going to change anything, you feel hopeless. And living through hopelessness is one of the worst things you can do to yourself.

Every day you wake up, you hear that same alarm clock sound and you feel that same dread at the pit of your stomach.

You wonder to yourself, “What am I even doing here? What’s the point? I can’t stand it!”

I’ve been there before. It’s so awful. My heart breaks for women who are there now. Suffering in survival mode just trying to hold on is a waste of life. That's why I dedicate my working life to helping YOU get out of it.

… Especially because I’ve seen people deal with their pain in terrible ways.

I’m going to give you some tough love here. And it’s only to shake you out of this!

There’s a little German word I just learned called “verschlimmbessern”. (ver-SHLIM-bis-urn)

The official definition is “to make something worse by trying to improve it”. Think of any terrible repairman or quack doctor.

And hey, we all commit verschlimmbessern all the time. Trying to layer eyeliner the same on both eyes? Verschlimmbessern alllll day.

But I’m seeing people do this same thing with their entire lives. I’ve seen women whose entire lives are completely messed up because of a career that feels like torture, but what do they do to make it better?

Bad habits and negativity spirals. You know what I’m talking about. It's when you tell yourself "I'll have just one more bite" but you keep eating more and more until you feel like crap… And THEN it's a coping mechanism you're stuck in, which makes you gain weight, which makes you feel worse, which makes you eat more…

This doesn’t just happen with eating.

All of these bad habits (drinking, shopping, Netflix binges, social media) seem so benign or even normal, but you know deep down that they’re coming from an unfulfilled and unhappy life.

They’re band-aid solutions, but they’re making your life even worse.

And that’s exactly what our program steers clear of.

If you want to go beyond the band-aids and experience deep, lasting transformation, that means you need to reprogram all that shit in your head from decades ago that made you believe you're not good enough, not loveable, or undeserving.

I’ve seen so many women figure this out. Not only did they start waking up excited to kick ass doing what they loved, but they were able to kick their bad habits too. Not a bad deal!

If you’re making things worse for yourself right now, my heart is breaking for you. I don’t want you to be stuck in a negative spiral in the one life you get to live.

We want to help you through this. We want to break you out of this so you can be truly happy again. It is possible. All it takes to start is a conversation.

Let’s spend just 45 minutes talking about you and build you a clear roadmap on how to break out of the life you’re living now and into a life of joy and fulfilment.

Are you ready to take the first step?

Very similar to 'iatrogenic' concept from a book I'm reading at the moment (AntiFragile - Nassim Taleb) thanks for sharing!
