Max Ebrel, the new Sporting Director at Bayern Munich, was presented to the media back in late February. During that press conference he spoke about Alphonso Davies and mentioned that, “no club wants to lose a player for free”. The German giants are now planning for the 2024-2025 season and have reportedly provided Alphonso Davies with a final offer.

According to German based BILD, Max Ebrel told the media outlet: “We made Alphonso a very concerte, appreciative offer. At some point in life you have to say yes or no”. It is clear that Bayern and Ebrel have provided their final offer and put a line in the sand: they will not further increase the financial offer on hand. It is now up to Alphonso Davies to decide if he wants to continue at Bayern Munich under a new project or take the step to Spain and join Real Madrid.

A sum in the region of €35-€45 million may be required from Madrid to seal the deal. The club will have to decide on the futures of Ferland Mendy, Fran Garcia, and even Miguel Gutierrez before securing any deal with Davies.
