The Tailspot Blenny is a one of the smaller Blennies. It has a noticeable black spot on the tail and neon glowing striped colors near the face. The body is usually a beige color. It has a curious Martian-like face and odd looking antennas protruding from its forehead.
The Tailspot Blenny is recommended in smaller systems such as a nano tank due to their small size; the Tailspot Blenny is very peaceful and needs a well-established tank with natural algae to feed on, they are relaxed and always interesting to watch. May rest on live rock or other structures in the tank. The Tailspot Blenny is deemed expert due to its initial small size, in meium to larger tanks this blenny can go unaccounted for quickly, a nano tank is highly recommened.
Blennies will eat mostly all foods including vegetable matter that contains marine algae. Try feeding with Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets regularly for a healthy diet.
