Description of Hexen II
Hexen II (aka H2) is a video game published in 1997 on Windows by id Software, Inc., Activision, Inc., Empire Interactive Europe Ltd.. It's an action game, set in a fantasy, shooter, egypt, fps, rpg elements, medieval, pre-columbian americas and classical antiquity themes, and was also released on Mac.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the GOG-Version has gamebreaking bugs. The reason for this is the improved Glide-wrapper (based on nGlide), I think.
There are a dozen places in the game where you run into invisible walls, and the only way to get to them is to jump over them.
Examples:
In Blackmarsh (Act I) there is a pool in the palace sublevel, if you fall into it, you can only get out of it with the cheat "NOCLIP".
In Thysis (Act III) there are problems with placing the four Canopic-containers in the burial chamber (pharaoh's palace), you can't get close enough. Jump often helps.
And in the Chamber of the Sun (Temple of Horus), the wall with the sun symbol cannot be destroyed, even though the f*** sundial is at 12:00. Again, only NOCLIP helps.
I think the 3DFX to Vulkan/DirectX wrapper has problems with the geometry data, which can also manifest itself through various graphics bugs. I tried it with different resolutions and target adapters, i.e. Vulkan and DirectX.
I can't see Thysis anymore...

This was my first 3D game on my Celeron 333 hahaha I was playing it for couple of months and that was a time without cheat codes. You have to spend days to find hidden door. Nowadays, when everyone know all possible tricks in games, it's easy to accomplish any mission. Great job for that time! Thanks for game, I am downloading it right now =)

hey why is download so slow ive played the dos hexen before and really want to play this one. and by the way does anyone know where I can get shadow warrior for dos .

Downloaded the files but Norton Antivirus blocked them saying they were hacked.

Better than Diablo. The history is similar but with more challenges, puzzles and fights. Best Quake 2 Mod.
