Grow Coral Faster.

Stony coral frags put on the Novum Coral frags grow up to 300% faster, and their health and vibrancy improve dramatically. The blocks create a perfect micro-environment for stony coral growth, due to the patented composite of hydroxyapatite and calcium carbonate. In  the medical world this material was developed to be a Bone grafting material, to regrow human bone. Now, Novum Coral is introduced as the worlds first Coral grafting material. This unique bi-phasic material  protects your coral frag against local pH variations. Lasty, we hypothesize that Novum Coral significant porosity and large surface area are conducive to supporting healthy microbiologic levels in your tank.

Leveraging the biological principles connecting human and coral skeleton growth, Novum Coral is a bi-phasic growth stimulating block. Novum Coral blocks are composed of patented materials from the medical field. Manufactured in the US using the strictest quality control methods, these bi-phasic ortho-biologic materials were designed to heal and regrow the human skeleton.

The block can be sawed into several smaller pieces if preferred to support several frags. As a larger block it will allow you to grow your frags into beautiful large show-pieces!

Experiments have demonstrated how Novum Coral speeds up coral growth in stony corals by up to 300%. Additionaly we have seen clearly that the health and vibrancy of corals increases significantly on Novum Coral. The product is on display in several stores in the New York area, clearly showing the difference between our Coral grafting material and normal passive substrates.

Novum Corals longer term mission is to contribute to global reef restoration, to which end we are working with researchers and NGO's to identify opportunities to apply our technology.
