Brody Jenner isn’t holding back.

The “Hills: New Beginnings” star weighed in last week on the departure of Mischa Barton, who joined the “Hills” sequel for its first season in 2019 and will not be back for season two, hitting MTV Wednesday.

“I personally love the new dynamic,” Jenner, 37, told the Daily News on a Zoom call last week with costars Frankie Delgado, also an alum of the original “Hills,” and Brandon Thomas Lee.

“No offense to Mischa, but we don’t really miss Mischa,” he added. “I mean, do you, Brandon? … Bringing Mischa on to begin with was just, it was sort of awkward.”

Returning to the show this season are “Hills” veterans Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt, Jenner’s ex Kaitlynn Carter, Justin “Justin Bobby” Brescia, Frankie Delgado and wife Jennifer, as well as Jason Wahler and wife Ashley.

Season one newbie Brandon Thomas Lee, son of Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson, will also be back. Also joining are Caroline D’Amore, a socialite and DJ, and Kristin Cavallari — who starred in “Laguna Beach,” of which “The Hills” was a spin-off — will also appear.

“All the people that we film with now are people that we’ve grown up with and we know each other,” said Jenner. “We’re all really close friends.”

Though the DJ knew Barton, 35, “from Hollywood and stuff,” he felt having her on the show “was kind of weird because she didn’t really know that many people in the cast.

“So I just think it was maybe uncomfortable for her too, you know?” he continued. “I think that’s probably why she didn’t wanna come back or if we didn’t— I don’t know really know the story behind that. But the group is great. … There’s a lot of drama, there’s a lot of intimate great moments that we have.”

The “Sixth Sense” actress, best for her starring role on Fox’s “The O.C.” — whose success was capitalized on by “Laguna Beach” — was rarely featured in season one of “New Beginnings.”
