Finding movies and shows that are appropriate for elementary school-aged kids has become less and less difficult as the options from streaming services continue to grow, but deciding what to let them watch as their curiosity increases is something that has never really gone away.
This podcast recording features the discussion I had with my 7-year-old after we watched “The Monster Squad” (PG-13, 1987) and “Beetlejuice” (PG, 1988) together. Both were kid-selected and parent-approved, and I think you’ll find the reviews entertaining.
