Biography: Liv Tyler is the daughter of Aerosmith's lead singer, Steven Tyler, and model Bebe Buell.

Her most famous role is that of Elf maiden Arwen Undómiel in Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" film trilogy (2001-2003).

Tyler's first major role in film was in Italian film director Bernardo Bertolucci's "Sleeping Beauty" (1996). She went on to star in both blockbusters such as "Armaggeddon" (1998) and "The Incredible Hulk" (2008) and in more art house films such as Robert Altman's "Cookie's Fortune" (1999).

Tyler has been a UNICEF goodwill ambassador since 2003.
