Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival

Check in - and check out Tórshavn! Get a good start on your journey. You will be picked up at the airport and whisked away to the heart of Tórshavn. Check into the enchanting Hotel Føroyar, where comfort meets panoramic views, and settle into the serenity of the Faroese capital. Here we recommend strolling down to centrum at explore the capital.

DAY 2: Mykines

The Puffin Paradise! Mykines is the perfect trip for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the bird life. Especially all the thousands of puffins that migrate to the island. After sailing for around 40 minutes and passing Drangarnir and Tindhólmur you will arrive at Mykines where you will get a guided tour around the island where you will be presented with the best puffins spots.

DAY 3: Tórshavn

Small commute, Big thrills! Hoyvíkin is perfect for an eventful adventure day with your friends or family - without going too far from Tórshavn. Here you will get to rappell, cliff jump and try the biggest Zip-line in the Faroe Islands. Hoyvíkin is an old cosy farm settlement from the 1700 with roots back to the viking age and is only 5 minutes from Tórshavn. Afterwards we will continue the historic journey in Kirkjubø with a tour of 11th century old Kirkjubøargarður, old churches and other historical cites.

DAY 4: Kallurin

Follow in the footsteps of James Bond! The journey starts at the ferry port in Klaksvík. From here the boat ‘Sam’ will sail you through the fjords to the small and southermost village Syðradalur. Here you will get a guided tour around Kallurin and follow in the footsteps of James Bond. Afterwards you will get to enjoy a faroese lunchpack and nice cup of coffee or tea in the village of Mikladalur know for it’s old saga about the Seal Woman.

DAY 5: Gjógv, Saksun, Thørnuvík

Experience the north! First stop is Saksun with it’s beautiful beach and traditional turf-roofed houses. Next we drive further north passing the largest waterfall Fossá to Tjørnuvík, a quaint village in the Faroe Islands nestled in a scenic valley and offers a stunning view of the sea stacks, Risin and Kellingin. Afterwards we will drive past the highest peak Slættaratindur (which we can hike if you want) and Hvíthamar. We will end the tour in Gjógv which is renowned for its unique natural gorge that extends into the sea.

DAY 6: Vágar

Western Wonders! Explore Vágar, the gateway to the Faroe Islands, where you'll be mesmerized by Trælanípan and Lake Sørvágsvatn seeming to float above the ocean, and the by the majestic Múlafossur Waterfall besides the charming village of Gásadalur, offering a blend of traditional culture and breathtaking natural beauty. And not to forget the panoramic view of the islet Tindhólmur and the seastacks Drangarir.

DAY 3: Departure

Thank you for your stay! Enjoy your last day in the Faroe Islands. Here we recommend exploring the local stores and cafes of Tórshavn. Where after we will transport your to the airport fulfilled with new experiences. OBS! Depending on your time of departure, we can arrange some sightseeing on Day 7 to your liking.
