Sad to hear that Rudi Altig passed away on Saturday at the age of 79. Seen here in his 1966 rainbow jersey. Winner of 1962 Vuelta overall, becoming the first German to do so, and wore the yellow jersey of Tour de France race leader in the 1962, 1964, 1966 and 1969 races. He won the points classification in the 1962 Tour.
